Felix Auger-Aliassime Withdraws from Paris Masters

Canadian tennis player Felix Auger-Aliassime has withdrawn from the 2024 ATP Rolex Paris Masters due to a back injury sustained during the Basel tournament. He was set to face Ben Shelton in the first round, but after attempting to practice and undergoing tests, he concluded he could not compete at the desired level. Auger-Aliassime expressed disappointment over the decision, noting it as a bittersweet end to a challenging season in which he has struggled, with no singles titles and only one final appearance at the ATP Madrid. Currently ranked No. 19 in the ATP rankings, he aims to recover and return stronger for the 2025 season. His withdrawal opens the draw for a Lucky Loser to take his place.
