Multi-State Arrests in Murders, Shootings and Rape

Law enforcement in multiple states announced arrests this month in a series of shootings, a sexual assault, and charges tied to a stolen vehicle. In Kemah, Texas, San Antonio resident James Nathan Malo, 40, was arrested and charged with murder and aggravated assault after an Oct. 12 family-gathering shooting that killed Richard Samora, 30, and wounded another brother; bail was set at $400,000. In Maringouin, Louisiana, Derion Rogers, 19, and DaQuan Causey, 17, were charged with second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder and armed robbery after an Oct. 16 apartment-complex shooting that killed 17-year-old Derrien Scott and injured another teenager. In Pulaski, Tennessee, Marcus Orlando Williams, 48, was arrested on attempted first-degree murder and related charges after a shooting that injured a 34-year-old who is expected to survive. In Maryland, Jerrell Lee Fullwood, 25, was arrested on attempted first-degree rape and first-degree assault charges for an alleged attack near a Silver Spring bus stop, and Deondray Darnell Osborne, 33, was arrested after being linked to a July attempted first-degree murder and seen driving a stolen BMW during a pursuit; both are being held pending court action.
