Brook Lopez Signs Two-Year Deal with Clippers, Aiming Veteran Role

Brook Lopez, a Southern California native, has signed a two-year, $18 million contract with the Los Angeles Clippers, marking a homecoming for the veteran center. He returns to the LA area after seven successful seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, where he won a championship and earned two All-Defensive Team honors. Lopez will serve primarily as a backup to starter Ivica Zubac, with whom he shares a strong defensive partnership potential, especially in big lineups favored by Lue.
