Two tragic incidents involving falls from hotel balconies have resulted in the deaths of tourists in Cyprus and Majorca. In Cyprus, a 45-year-old British man fell from a third-floor balcony after a night of heavy drinking, with police ruling out criminal activity. Meanwhile, in Majorca, 11-year-old Irish girl Clodagh Phelan fell 65ft from a seventh-floor balcony at Club Mac resort while her family was asleep. Despite paramedics' efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The Civil Guard is treating her death as an accident and has initiated an investigation.
