Despite their immediate complaints, hotel staff informed them there were no alternative rooms available, forcing the couple to endure two nights in the soaked suite. Jill, who suffers from COPD, experienced health issues for the remainder of their trip due to the damp conditions. Andrew attempted to mop up the water, which appeared to be coming from the room's dehumidifier, but the flooding persisted. He described the situation as disgraceful, noting the presence of dangerous electric cables in the water.
