Paras Mhambrey Joins Mumbai Indians Coaching Staff

Paras Mhambrey, former bowling coach of the Indian national cricket team, has been appointed as the new bowling coach for the Mumbai Indians (MI) ahead of the IPL 2025 season. Mhambrey's move comes after his tenure with the national team, where he was part of the support staff that led India to victory in the T20 World Cup 2024. Despite expectations he would join the Rajasthan Royals alongside former coach Rahul Dravid, Mhambrey opted for MI, where he previously worked. He will collaborate with current bowling coach Lasith Malinga as the franchise aims to recover from a disappointing last season. Additionally, the BCCI is considering Singapore as a potential venue for the IPL 2025 auction, with Saudi Arabia also being discussed as an alternative location.
