Rose resigned in July 2023 after admitting a serious error in judgment for discussing Farage's situation with the media, which led to a significant public backlash and her forfeiture of £7.6 million in pay. Despite the scandal, an internal review found no misconduct on her part. Mishcon de Reya expressed excitement over Rose's expertise, particularly in enhancing their DEI initiatives. Rose previously led the Rose Review, aimed at improving female entrepreneurship in the UK.
