Two AMBER Alerts Issued; Riverdale Children Reportedly Found

Authorities issued AMBER Alerts Saturday for two separate abductions: one in Justiceburg, Texas, and one in Riverdale, Illinois. In Justiceburg, deputies say 11-year-old Cindy Casas-Mejia and a 13–14-year-old Edward Casas-Mejia were taken around 9 a.m.; investigators are seeking 31–32-year-old Magali (Mejia) Sanchez driving a blue 2008 BMW 328 with Colorado plate 7785345 and ask anyone who sees them to call 911 or the Adams County Sheriff’s Office at 720-322-1313. In Riverdale, police say four children — Nia (10), Nolan (7), Noah (7–8) and Nova (7) Hill — were taken from a vehicle early Saturday in what officials describe as a domestic-related kidnapping, and an AMBER Alert was issued for suspect Austin Bell (about 29–30) and a silver 2010 Acura MDX with Illinois plate FE60619. Some outlets later reported the Riverdale children were found safe and the AMBER Alert canceled while the suspect remained at large and the children were undergoing medical evaluation; authorities say the situation remains under active investigation.
