Weaver expressed her disappointment on Instagram, stating she will begin rehabbing her meniscus while still supporting her team. Defenders Nicole Payne and Marie Müller have also been placed on the season-ending injury list after sustaining ACL injuries in recent weeks. Payne injured her knee during a preseason match, while Müller was injured while training with the German national team.
