Dayot Upamecano Out for Nations League Matches
France's national soccer team faces a significant change as defender Dayot Upamecano has been ruled out of the upcoming Nations League matches against Israel and Belgium due to a right hamstring injury sustained during a Bundesliga match with Bayern Munich. The French football federation confirmed that Loïc Badé, a player from Sevilla, has been called up as Upamecano's replacement. Upamecano underwent an MRI that revealed a muscle injury, prompting his withdrawal from the squad. France, currently second in Group A, will play against Israel in Budapest on Thursday and then face Belgium in Brussels the following Monday. This is not the first call-up for Badé, who had to withdraw from the squad previously due to injury. The team is also monitoring Chelsea's Wesley Fofana, who remains a doubt for the matches.
