One Dead, Seven Injured in Madhya Pradesh Clash

A violent clash in Maksi town, Madhya Pradesh, resulted in one death and seven injuries late Wednesday, escalating from an earlier dispute between two groups. The confrontation involved stone-throwing and gunfire, with the police confirming that the violence was a continuation of tensions from a previous incident on Monday. Anees Khan has been arrested, while others involved are still at large, and a case has been filed under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Among the injured, six were referred to Indore for treatment, and one remains hospitalized in Ujjain. Authorities, including the Shajapur district collector and police superintendent, are monitoring the situation, which is now reported to be under control. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has called for proper medical care for the injured and demanded details from local officials.
