Meanwhile, Pieter-Steph du Toit from South Africa was named the Men's 15s Player of the Year for the second time, having played a pivotal role in his team's Rugby Championship success and unbeaten European tour. Ireland's Erin King was recognized as the Women's Breakthrough Player of the Year after making a significant impact in her first season in the 15s format, including scoring decisive tries against New Zealand.
