Glen Powell and his production company, Barnstorm, have secured a first-look deal with Universal Pictures following the success of their film 'Twisters.' Powell expressed his excitement, stating that Barnstorm aims to be a destination for world-class theatrical entertainment. The deal also sees Dan Cohen, a former executive at 21 Laps, joining Barnstorm as a partner, further enhancing the company's creative potential. 'Twisters' has performed exceptionally well, grossing over $267.7 million domestically and nearly $371 million globally, becoming a major success for Universal. This partnership marks a significant step for Powell, who recently received a Golden Globe nomination for his work on 'Hit Man.' Universal Pictures President Peter Cramer praised Powell as a multi-talented individual committed to storytelling across genres.
