Boothbay Art Foundation Calls for Artist Submissions

The Boothbay Region Art Foundation is inviting artists to submit works for a themed, non-juried exhibition titled 'Wintering,' showcasing winter's beauty and challenges through various art forms. Submissions can be made in-person on January 13 and 14, with fees ranging from $15 to $25 depending on membership status. Meanwhile, the Vortex Theatre in Albuquerque is set to present 'The Farolitos of Christmas,' celebrating New Mexico's holiday traditions from November 22 to December 22. Additionally, Tomorrowland Winter will return to Alpe d'Huez, France, from March 15-22, 2025, featuring a blend of winter sports and electronic music with tickets available from September 2024. In Belgium, a reimagined performance of Schubert's 'Winterreise' explores universal themes of life and connection, while Ingmar Bergman's 'Fanny and Alexander' is adapted into a theatrical opera, promising a rich and immersive experience. Both productions will be performed in late November and early December, respectively.
