Two Arrested In June Atlanta Road Rage Shooting Death
Remoin Patton, the uncle of Outkast co-founder Antwan “Big Boi” Patton, was fatally shot during a road rage incident in Atlanta on June 16. Police reports indicate Patton was attempting to make a turn when he and another driver exchanged words, leading to the shooting that caused Patton to crash his vehicle into a vacant residence. Patton, also known as Uncle Moonie, was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound to the back. Jabyrion Crumbley, 18, turned himself in and faces charges including murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during a felony, while Janisha Crumbley was arrested for hindering the apprehension of a felon and later released. Big Boi expressed deep sorrow, describing the incident as a moment of rage that pierced his family's heart and paid tribute to his uncle on social media. The case has drawn attention both for the tragic loss and the ongoing investigation into the circumstances and relationships between those charged.
