BBC Documentary Celebrates Dave Myers' Life

The BBC will air a one-off documentary titled 'The Hairy Bikers: You'll Never Ride Alone' to honor the late Dave Myers, who passed away from cancer in February at the age of 66. Si King, Myers' co-star and best friend, will reflect on their 25-year career together, showcasing key moments and celebrating their special friendship. The documentary follows a poignant memorial ride in April, where 45,000 bikers journeyed from London to Barrow-in-Furness, honoring Myers' legacy. This emotional tribute will feature archival footage, new interviews, and previously unseen clips, encapsulating the duo's impact on cookery shows. Additionally, a 'Dave Day' event held in June raised over £127,000 for cancer research and child support charities, with plans for another event in 2025. The documentary is set to air on BBC Two next month, just before Christmas.
