Coca-Cola Opens $90M Columbus Warehouse Creating 300 Jobs

Coca-Cola Consolidated has invested $90 million to open a new 400,000-square-foot distribution and warehouse facility in Columbus, Ohio, designed to handle over 16 million cases of product annually and serve Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. The campus includes two additional 15,000-square-foot buildings for equipment repair and fleet maintenance, and features the state-of-the-art Vertique semi-automated system to enhance productivity, efficiency, and working conditions. This expansion is expected to create over 300 new jobs and includes specialized training programs to support workforce development. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine highlighted the investment's positive impact on job creation, safety, and local economic growth during the grand opening. Coca-Cola Consolidated already operates 15 facilities in Ohio and aims to improve service and distribution capabilities through this long-term commitment. The project reflects Coca-Cola's broader strategy to grow its market presence while supporting its employees and local communities.
