Bengaluru-based Nurix AI Raises $27.5 Million

Mukesh Bansal, co-founder of Myntra and Cultfit, has launched a new AI startup named Nurix AI, which has successfully raised $27.5 million in seed and Series A funding led by General Catalyst and Accel, with participation from Meraki Labs. The funding will be utilized to enhance technology, expand research and development, and scale operations in Asia and North America, particularly by forming partnerships with AI hardware and product companies. Nurix AI specializes in creating custom AI agents designed to improve customer engagement through human-augmented solutions, particularly for the BPO industry. Bansal envisions a future where AI can significantly enhance productivity and quality in enterprises, addressing challenges like AI 'hallucination' and security concerns. The company aims to generate its first revenue in the upcoming quarter, with a focus on integrating AI into existing workflows. Nurix AI will be competing in a crowded market alongside tech giants and other domestic players.
