Rahul Gandhi Pledges Support for Work Reform

Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, has pledged his personal commitment and the Congress party's support to ensure safer and fairer workplaces following the tragic death of Anna Sebastian Perayil, an Ernst & Young employee who allegedly died due to extreme work pressure. During a video call with Anna's parents, Gandhi expressed his condolences and vowed to raise the issue in Parliament. He instructed the All India Professionals' Congress (AIPC) to launch an awareness movement and establish a helpline for corporate professionals to report work stress and toxic work culture. The AIPC plans to draft guidelines to improve working conditions in the corporate sector. This initiative aims to prevent future tragedies and promote humane work environments in India.
