Diamond Sports Partners with Amazon for Game Streaming

Diamond Sports Group has announced a multi-year agreement with Amazon Prime Video, allowing sports fans to stream Detroit Pistons, Red Wings, and Tigers games starting December 5, with broadcasts expanding to 2025. This collaboration includes a single-game purchase option for $6.99, available through the FanDuel Sports Network app and Amazon Prime. Diamond, which recently emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy, will also make FanDuel Sports Network available as part of Amazon's add-on subscriptions. The network, owning rights to 13 NBA and eight NHL teams, will offer single-game pricing for these sports, starting at $6.99, alongside monthly and season pass subscriptions. This move marks a transformative reorganization for Diamond, supported by its partnerships with Prime Video and FanDuel, following its financial restructuring. A final hearing on Diamond's reorganization plan is scheduled, with MLB and the Atlanta Braves filing objections.
