Hundreds Arrested in Widespread Immigration Protests Across US Cities

Protests against President Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement policies have resulted in hundreds of arrests across Los Angeles over several days, with law enforcement detaining at least 330 migrants, including 113 with prior criminal records. The demonstrations, which have spread to 26 cities, have involved clashes between protesters and police, including incidents of assault on officers and attempted murder using Molotov cocktails. Over 470 people have been arrested during the protests, with charges ranging from failure to disperse to assault with deadly weapons and looting. National Guard troops and Marines have been deployed in Los Angeles by Trump's order, and Texas is preparing similar involvement.
