Penn State wrestler Beau Bartlett has reclaimed the No. 1 ranking at 141 pounds after defeating Jesse Mendez from Ohio State, marking a significant shift in the NCAA wrestling rankings. The Nittany Lions continue to showcase dominance, with eight of their starters ranked in the top two of their respective weight classes, contributing to their undefeated record of 14-0 this season. Alongside Bartlett, other notable rankings include Tyler Kasak (157) and Mitchell Mesenbrink (165) who also hold the top spots in their weight classes. Braeden Davis climbed to No. 7 at 133 pounds after a return from injury, while Josh Barr moved up to No. 2 at 197 pounds. Despite Luke Lilledahl's drop to No. 9 at 125 pounds after a recent loss, Penn State's overall performance remains strong as they prepare for the upcoming Big Ten Championships. The team is on track to potentially send as many as eight wrestlers to the NCAA Championship finals in March.
