Flipspaces Raises $35 Million to Expand in India, US, UAE

Flipspaces, a Mumbai-based commercial interior design and build startup, has raised $35 million in funding led by Iron Pillar, with participation from Prudent Investment Managers and Synergy Capital. The capital will support Flipspaces' expansion across India, the US, and the UAE, bolster its proprietary technology platforms, and enable inorganic growth in new markets and categories. Flipspaces differentiates itself with a tech-first, fully integrated solution targeting small and medium businesses (SMBs), which make up about 60% of the commercial design market, but has also expanded to serve large enterprises. The company has achieved $40 million in revenue and has delivered over 8 million square feet of commercial space for more than 1,000 brands, maintaining profitability in both India and the US. This funding round also saw early investor Carpediem exit the company, while Flipspaces continues to address inefficiencies in the traditional, fragmented commercial design sector through its technology-driven approach. The startup plans to leverage the new investment to further scale its business globally and enhance customer experience through innovation.
