Indiana Woman Wins Detroit Lions Lottery Prize

Emily Hickox, a 25-year-old from Indiana, won $500,000 from a Detroit Lions scratch-off lottery ticket during a family white elephant gift exchange on Christmas, which is also her birthday. Initially, she received a flashlight from her father, while he got the winning lottery ticket. After trading gifts with her father, Emily discovered her fortune upon scratching the ticket. Initially thinking she had won $50,000, Emily was thrilled to find out via the Michigan Lottery app that her prize was actually $500,000.
