British & Irish Lions Confirm Nine-Game 2025 Australia Tour

The British & Irish Lions have announced their full fixture list for the 2025 tour of Australia, starting with a match against Argentina in Dublin on June 20. The tour will feature nine matches in Australia, including three Test matches against the Wallabies, with the first Test scheduled at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on July 19. A notable addition to the schedule is a match against a First Nations & Pasifika XV on July 22, which replaces a previously planned game against the now-defunct Melbourne Rebels. Rugby Australia CEO Phil Waugh expressed enthusiasm for this fixture, indicating it will celebrate the contributions of Indigenous and Pacific Islander players to rugby. The tour, running from June 28 to August 2, also includes matches against all four Super Rugby Pacific teams and an AUNZ Invitational XV coached by Ian Foster. Fans are eager, as initial ticket allocations for the Tests sold out quickly, showcasing strong interest in this historic series.
