Amazon MX Player recently held its StreamNext event, announcing an impressive lineup of over 100 new shows for 2025, including 40 new Hindi originals and returning seasons of popular series such as Aashram and Hunter. The event featured industry leaders like Sir Martin Sorrell and showcased how Amazon MX Player is positioning itself as a major player in the evolving digital content landscape in India. The platform emphasizes its vast reach and innovative ad technology, enabling brands to connect with more than 250 million unique users. Karan Bedi, Head of Amazon MX Player, highlighted that the app is one of India's most downloaded, with over 1.4 billion downloads, and is accessible across various platforms including Amazon.in and Fire TV. New series announced include Bhay – The Gaurav Tiwari Story, Mitti – Ek Nayi Pehchaan, and the reality show Rise and Fall, among others.
