Hoffman, a professional drummer from Shreveport, Louisiana, has been recognized for his energetic performances and social media presence, and he expressed his longtime admiration for the band. He is set to debut with Primus during the 'Live In The Sand' festival in March, before embarking on a tour alongside A Perfect Circle and Puscifer starting in April. The band emphasized their desire for a drummer who could not only play well but also contribute creatively, which Hoffman aims to fulfill. His selection allows Primus to move forward as they prepare for upcoming performances and continue their legacy in the alternative metal scene.
