Several school bus accidents occurred across the United States recently, resulting in injuries and heroic actions. In Hillsborough, North Carolina, a crash involving a River Park Elementary school bus sent two individuals to the hospital, while two others were treated on-site (ABC11). In Pine Bluff, Arkansas, a retired teacher and bus driver, Carl Smith, helped save a police officer's life by extinguishing a fire after their vehicles collided; both were hospitalized with the officer in critical condition (Fox16, KARK, THV11). Separately, a school bus in Oklahoma City with 15-20 children onboard collided with a Kia, but fortunately, no injuries were reported (KOCO).
