Junior Golfers Compete Across North America, Bermuda, Caribbean in Major Summer Events

Several junior golf tournaments and events are highlighting the progress of young golfers from various regions. Local golfers in the Jr. Men’s U15, U17, and U19 categories are performing well at the junior golf championships, with multiple players from Prince Albert, Humboldt, and North Battleford near the top of the leaderboard and competing for national quota spots. Charlie Woods, son of Tiger Woods, and Cameron Kuchar, son of Matt Kuchar, will compete in the AJGA Junior Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass, joined by top-ranked juniors like Miles Russell, who is the defending champion and the AJGA Player of the Year. Bermuda’s promising junior golfers are also gaining international experience, competing in prestigious tournaments such as the North & South Junior Championships, Junior World Championships, and the Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championships. The Canadian Junior Women’s and Men’s Championships are scheduled for August 2025 in Quebec and New Brunswick, respectively, continuing the competitive junior golf calendar. These events showcase the development of young talent in golf across North America and abroad.
