NC Pastor Charged for Assaulting McDonald's Employee

Dwayne Waden, the pastor at Elevated Life International Ministries, was arrested and charged with assault and battery after physically attacking a coworker of his wife at a local McDonald's. His wife, a manager in training, called him to the restaurant due to issues with her colleagues. Waden punched the employee in the face and attempted to force his head into a deep fryer, causing multiple injuries. The victim discharged himself from the hospital against medical advice. Following an investigation, Waden was released on a $1,000 bail.
