Sparks Beat Fever 85-75 Amid Boston, Plum WNBA All-Star Praise
The Indiana Fever, currently 7-8 on the 2025 WNBA season, faced a challenge against the Los Angeles Sparks without their All-WNBA point guard Caitlin Clark, who was sidelined due to a groin injury. Despite Aliyah Boston recording her seventh double-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and five steals, the Fever lost 85-75 to the Sparks. Sparks star Kelsey Plum, who scored 21 points with six assists, praised Boston's outstanding play this season, stating she believes Boston should be an All-Star starter given her efficient and tough presence on the block. Boston is having a career-best season, averaging 15.9 points on 61.7% shooting, 8.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game, making her a strong candidate for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game. Plum also highlighted her team's growth as they snapped a four-game losing streak with the victory. The Fever look to continue their playoff push as they prepare to face the Dallas Wings, while the Sparks will take on the Chicago Sky next.
