Arsenal Pursue Lookman, Eze, Casado, Kepa
Arsenal are actively targeting several players ahead of the 2024–25 season, focusing on both attacking and midfield reinforcements. The club has renewed talks with Atalanta for Ademola Lookman, valued at £38.4 million, and is also considering Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze as a left-wing option after setbacks in pursuing Rodrygo and Nico Williams. Negotiations for Newcastle's Anthony Gordon are unlikely to succeed, as Newcastle are determined to keep him and could demand up to £100 million. Arsenal are set to submit a €40 million bid for Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado and have agreements in place for Christian Norgaard and Martin Zubimendi to fill midfield vacancies. Manager Mikel Arteta is focused on improving both attacking and defensive metrics following a season of statistical decline. The club is also expected to complete the signing of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea to strengthen their goalkeeping options.
