DOE Approves $1.81 Billion Loan to APS

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has conditionally approved a loan guarantee of up to $1.81 billion for Arizona Public Service (APS) to support its transition to clean energy, particularly through the Agave Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), which boasts a capacity of 150 MW/600 MWh.
