The federal government of Canada has announced a $192 million investment in clean energy projects across Nova Scotia, aimed at reducing reliance on coal and transitioning to renewable energy sources. Key allocations include $117.6 million for Nova Scotia Power to install battery energy storage systems and grid modernization, alongside several wind energy projects receiving $25 million each. These projects involve partnerships with local Indigenous groups and aim to develop significant wind energy capacities in Windsor, Higgins Mountain, and the District of Argyle.
