Apple Plans 2026 Foldable iPhone with Multi-Cameras Touch ID

Apple is expected to launch its first foldable iPhone in 2026, featuring a book-like design with a large inner display and a compact outer screen. The device, rumored as the iPhone Fold or iPhone Flip, will reportedly feature four to five cameras, including front and rear lenses, to compete strongly with rivals like Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold series. Unlike previous models, the foldable iPhone will utilize Touch ID instead of Face ID, possibly integrated into the power button, to accommodate the foldable form factor and maintain a thinner profile. It will also rely on Apple's custom C2 modem and fully implement eSIM technology, eliminating the physical SIM card slot. This foldable model represents one of Apple's boldest hardware experiments in years, combining advanced imaging capabilities, a new biometric system, and Apple-designed connectivity chips. Additionally, Apple is anticipated to introduce new AirPods Pro with heart rate monitoring features and launch a paid Apple Health+ service next year.
