A significant theft occurred in Madhya Pradesh, where around 1,500 iPhones valued at approximately ₹11 crore were stolen from a container truck on August 15. The robbery was reportedly facilitated by a security personnel who is now untraceable, and the truck driver was allegedly drugged and restrained. Following the incident, police took action against three officers for negligence in handling the case, with one suspended and two others removed from field duties. The truck was en route from Gurugram to Chennai when the theft took place, and authorities are currently investigating the claims and gathering evidence. Apple has not yet contacted the police about the incident. The case will be formally registered once the initial investigations are completed.
