Six Killed in Most Restaurant Fire
A devastating fire at the U Kojota restaurant in Most, Czech Republic, resulted in the deaths of six individuals and injuries to eight others, with six of the injured in serious condition. The blaze, which occurred late Saturday night, is believed to have been caused by an overturned patio gas heater, leading to a rapid spread of flames. Firefighters controlled the fire within hours, but the tragic event has left the community in shock, marking one of the city's most significant tragedies. Interior Minister Vit Rakusan reported that around 30 people were evacuated from the premises, and emergency services transported the injured to various hospitals. Prime Minister Petr Fiala expressed his condolences, calling the incident a great tragedy, while authorities ruled out terrorism and attributed the fire to negligence. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
