Clarksville Police Investigate Double Homicide, Two Shootings in Single Evening

Clarksville police are investigating two shooting incidents that occurred within minutes of each other on Tuesday evening. The first shooting took place around 7:25 p.m. in the parking lot behind Mizu Japanese Cuisine, where officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound who later died from his injuries. About ten minutes later, a second victim with a gunshot wounds was reported arriving at a residence on Cabot Cove and also died from their injuries. In a separate shooting earlier on Monday afternoon on Apple Valley Road, an adult male was injured by a homeowner, leading to a manhunt and hospital treatment for the victim; officials stated the incident was isolated, with the investigation ongoing. Both events have heightened concerns among Clarksville residents about local safety, though law enforcement assures no further threat to the public currently exists.
