An orange alert for heavy rain has been declared for four districts in Odisha, expecting 70 mm to 200 mm of rainfall from August 29 to 31, while a yellow warning covers 16 additional districts. In North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, heavy rains are anticipated until August 31, prompting advisories for fishermen to avoid the sea. The low-pressure systems are predicted to move west-northwest, affecting both coastal and inland areas. Jharkhand is also expected to experience significant rainfall driven by these weather patterns, particularly in the northeastern and southeastern regions. Authorities across these states are urged to prepare for potential disruptions caused by the anticipated heavy rains.
