Royal Mail Releases 2025 Christmas Nativity Stamps Featuring Oxford Experts' Designs

Royal Mail has unveiled its 2025 Christmas stamps, featuring five illustrations of Nativity scenes designed by award-winning illustrator Paula Doherty. The stamps depict an angel, Mary and Joseph, Mary with Baby Jesus, shepherds, and the Three Wise Men, each corresponding to different postage values. Royal Mail collaborated with theology professors from King's College London and the University of Oxford to ensure the designs' authenticity and meaningfulness. David Gold of Royal Mail expressed that the release of these stamps marks the start of seasonal preparations for many, capturing the magical spirit of Christmas. Doherty shared her excitement about her designs traveling worldwide and noted the challenge of keeping her involvement secret until the official release. The stamps are available for purchase at Post Office branches, online, and via the Royal Mail app, with collectors able to obtain special presentation packs and first day covers.
