Emergency services found her body amidst the wreckage, while a 63-year-old man sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital. The Bureau of Meteorology has warned that high winds will continue throughout the day, with gusts recorded up to 146 km/h in some areas. In addition to the tragic incident, over 120,000 homes in Victoria are without power, and significant travel disruptions have affected flights and public transport. Emergency services have responded to more than 800 incidents in NSW alone as residents are urged to stay indoors and secure loose items. A coroner's report is to be prepared regarding the woman's death.
