Franz Ferdinand Announces New Single 'Audacious'

Franz Ferdinand is set to release a new single titled 'Audacious' on September 11, marking their first new music in two years since their compilation album 'Hits to the Head'. The band, now featuring drummer Audrey Tait, is also reportedly working on a sixth studio album called 'The Human Fear', expected to drop in January 2025. This forthcoming album was recorded at AYR Studios in Scotland and produced by Mark Ralph, known for his collaboration with the band on their 2013 album. The new project is described as upbeat and life-affirming, addressing deep-set human fears. Fans can look forward to three live dates across Scotland later this month, as Franz Ferdinand also celebrates the 20th anniversary of their debut album this year. The band continues to evolve while staying true to their indie roots.
