Braves Anticipate Strider's Return by April 2025

Atlanta Braves pitcher Spencer Strider, who missed most of the 2024 season due to a UCL injury, is making significant progress in his recovery and is expected to rejoin the rotation by the end of April 2025. Strider has been actively participating in bullpen sessions and could see game action before the end of Spring Training, a positive sign for the Braves as they prepare for the new season. The team did not make any major changes to their rotation this offseason, continuing to rely on talents like reigning Cy Young winner Chris Sale. While Strider's return is eagerly anticipated, the Braves may also consider adding veteran pitcher Lance Lynn as a temporary measure until Strider is fully ready. The Braves' 2024 season was plagued by injuries, and they are hopeful for a healthier roster in 2025 to make a serious World Series run. In addition, Ronald Acūna Jr. is also recovering from an ACL injury and is expected to return by mid-2025.
