The Delhi government has commenced trials for two new circulator bus routes in Dwarka and Vasant Vihar, aiming to enhance public transportation. The 23-km Dwarka More circular route will be serviced by two CNG buses, connecting key locations such as Dwarka Sector-14 and Vardhman Mall with an estimated journey time of 1 hour and 10 minutes. Meanwhile, the 13.35-km Vasant Vihar circular route, operating with eight electric buses, covers significant areas including Vasant Vihar Metro Station and Chhatarpur Metro Station in about 45 minutes. Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot emphasized that these initiatives are part of ongoing efforts to improve daily commutes for residents. Standard bus fares will apply, and the routes are designed for efficient movement within the neighborhoods, incorporating numerous stops at transit hubs. This development follows a series of improvements in Delhi's public transport, including recent trials for a mohalla bus project.
