Manchester United Agrees £74m Deal for RB Leipzig Forward Šeško

Manchester United has reached an agreement with RB Leipzig to sign Slovenian striker Benjamin Šeško in a deal reportedly worth up to €85 million, including add-ons and bonuses. Despite Newcastle United submitting a higher guaranteed offer, Šeško's preference for Manchester United proved decisive, leading Leipzig to accept United's structured bid. Šeško, who has been training separately, has traveled to Manchester to undergo a medical and is expected to be unveiled at Old Trafford soon. This transfer marks United's third major attacking signing this summer, following acquisitions of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, as the club continues to spend over £200 million reshaping their forward line. Leipzig also negotiated additional benefits, including a lucrative friendly match against Manchester United, which could generate significant revenue for the German club. Following Šeško's signing, Manchester United is reportedly targeting Brighton's Carlos Baleba to strengthen their midfield.
