Teen Jesus and Jean Teasers Release Second Album Glory

Australian indie-rock band Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers are set to release their second full-length album, GLORY, on November 7, 2025, through Mom + Pop Music and Community Music. Produced by Grammy-winning Catherine Marks, the album reflects a confident, raw, and unapologetic sound, capturing themes of confidence, disgust, infatuation, and power, described by the band as akin to the experience of getting the bus home after a night out. The lead single "MOTHER," featuring guitarist Scarlett McKahey on lead vocals for the first time, blends a western-inspired intro with explosive rage, addressing the mistreatment of women by inadequate men. GLORY also includes the previously released singles "BALCONY" and "UNSCARRED," which have received critical acclaim. Recorded over five weeks in an isolated home studio on Darkinjung Land, NSW, the band embraced experimentation and a no-compromise attitude to create a record that embodies their true sound. Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers continue to build on their growing reputation since their 2023 debut, with GLORY marking a significant artistic evolution.
