Skippack Official Arrested Maryland Child Porn Charges; Ex-North Yorkshire Officer Charged England

Two law enforcement-related individuals in the UK have been charged with offenses involving child pornography. Nick Fountain, vice-chair of the Skippack Township Board of Supervisors and operator of daycare centers, was arrested on charges of sexual solicitation and solicitation of child pornography related to an investigation by Maryland police; his home was searched and electronic devices seized. Separately, Paul Beckwith, a former North Yorkshire Police officer who supported the family of missing Claudia Lawrence and served as a family liaison officer, was charged with possessing indecent images of children and voyeurism. Beckwith was suspended following his arrest and is due to appear in court; the charges are unrelated to his police service, and he left the force in early 2025.
