Petaluma, Visalia Police Arrest Two Motorcyclists for Reckless Driving

A 20-year-old man from Petaluma was arrested after leading police on a chase while riding a Sur-Ron electric bike, which is classified as an off-highway motorcycle. The incident began when an officer attempted to stop him for performing stunts and running stop signs. After fleeing into the Petaluma Fairgrounds and reaching speeds of approximately 40 mph, the suspect lost control of the bike and was eventually apprehended. He sustained minor injuries and was later booked on charges including felony evading and reckless driving. In a separate incident, a 28-year-old motorcyclist in Visalia was arrested for exceeding speeds of 113 mph, as part of an increased enforcement effort against reckless driving in the area.
