David Gilmour Releases Concert Film, Live Album from Circus Maximus Rome

David Gilmour's concert film Live at the Circus Maximus, Rome, captures his 2024 performances at the historic Circus Maximus, filmed by longtime collaborator Gavin Elder. The film, showcasing a 22-song set including tracks from his album Luck and Strange, Pink Floyd classics, and earlier solo work, will premiere in select cinemas and IMAX theaters worldwide on September 17, followed by a DVD and Blu-ray release on October 17. Alongside the film, Gilmour is releasing The Luck and Strange Concerts, a live album available in multiple formats including a super deluxe edition featuring extensive tour photography and memorabilia. The concert features Gilmour's expressive guitar work and vocals, supported by his band with contributions from his child Romany Gilmour and other musicians. Fans who pre-order the live album from the Sony Music Store can enter a contest to win tickets to the film premiere in London, where Gilmour will be present.
