Man Charged in Chantilly Domestic Homicide

Alexander Towne, 32, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder after allegedly strangling his wife, Kim White, during an argument at their Chantilly, Virginia home on May 24. Fairfax County Police responded to the 16000 block of Bromall Court, discovering White dead from upper body trauma. Towne reportedly called 911, admitted to choking his wife, and remained at the scene until police arrived. The couple's 3-year-old son was present but unharmed and has been placed in a relative's care. Towne, a military veteran and Defense Health Agency analyst, is being held without bond and is scheduled to appear in court in July. The investigation remains ongoing.
